Description
The cashier will be responsible for handling all payment transactions with guests and customers, ensuring accuracy in all transactions and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, great attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Answer questions regarding menu items, promotions, and pricing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change as necessary.
- Ensure all transactions are correctly recorded in the POS system.
- Handle customer complaints or refer dissatisfied customers to the manager.
- Daily cash reconciliation and reporting
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier in the F&B industry preferred.
- Excellent ‘money math’, customer service, and communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm and friendly under pressure.
- Proficient in the use of POS systems.
- Able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A minimum of WASSCE is required
